I agree. I've travelled a lot though and lived in different places. I am thinking personality plays a big role. Sort of black and white thinker vs more nuanced? For me, there are just certain things that cross a line, and I think, hmm, do not trust that person... not sure what lies beneath the surface... evil perhaps.
Good and evil is man’s perception in the egoic mind, there is no differentiation of good and evil when we're in our higher states of mind hence the knowledge of good and evil is characterised with the fallen man.
The artist ( the poet, the musician, the dancer, the painter, the mystic) is one of the most valuable person in a culture because he brings a sense of awe in the minds of people showing the limitless human potential in all of us.

I used to think there were well defined borders around good and evil, but as I got older they got...fuzzier. Maybe it's just my eyesight.
interesting... I don't know how I feel about it. I think I might have criteria though, so far. That could change though.
It might have a lot to do with experience. Rubbing shoulders with people that aren't of your cohort or even culture brings new perspectives.

Thanks! We may even have a similar view for all we know... we didn't really say exactly what we meant with examples.
I love Eliot and the quotes you have chosen reflect well his thinking.
Thought-provoking quotes!
Answer 1:
If merely "this too shall pass" evokes a poetry of the depths of good times and the heights of agonies,
then how can human emotions not be transmitted in essence to evoke your reactions?
Answer 2:
Already prevalent cultures enforce doing evil to outsiders, as long as you continue to look good within inside circles.
How can morality spectra not be influenced this way into individual perspectives?
Answer 3:
Say I am constrained to creatively weave poetry language with the expression "what the hell?!"
Starting this way, why can't my complexity of surprise and frustration not catalyse your emotional engagement,
with further words in rhythm?

Unsolicited request: could you share poem/source text for each quote?
not absolute. at least not at the level we can understand
Good and evil,
like walking a tightrope,
even one can pretend to
be the other in our minds...
