Question #2:

Joy is meaningless without pain. Happiness is meaningless without suffering. You cannot have a crest without a trough or a front without a back. The sanskrit word samsara, which describes cyclic existence according to Hindu religion is characterized by suffering (the first truth) that all beings undergo as a consequence of life. Buddhists view liberation from suffering through enlightenment, achievable by relinquishing attachment and the realization that all existence is due to dependent arising. Shakespeare noted this as well when he wrote, "Expectation is the root of all heartache." Western religion views suffering as a consequence of sin, with perhaps the exception of Job, who suffered because God had a point to make. Perhaps the idea that best addresses suffering no matter what your personal philosophy or religion is, "This too shall pass."

Question 2 answer. Like Nietzsche once wrote, "to live is to suffer, so survive is to find some meaning in the suffering. In other words, suffering is going to happen regardless in life. What really matter is how we deal with and accept it. If we survive it, we can learn something from it and have meaning.

Yes, happiness is meaningless without pain.

In fact, everything is non existent without DIFFERENCE.

When we make the concept of good

we automatically make the concept of bad.

Difference is necessary for ACTion.

Action is the cosmic dance.

All the things in nature are together in one place.

Each thing is moved by nature’s pattern.

Signals give direction.

The whole divides in to parts. 🧬

The parts move around and in and out of each other.

Like water flowing in rivers 💦 and oceans 🌊 and changing into vapor 💨 and snow ⛄️❄️and ice 🧊.

The water flows in and out of creatures 🐿️ and plants 🌱.

Every part is circulating, round and round. 💫☄️🪐⛈️🦠🧬🌪️

Things unFold 🌱 then enFold 🍂 .

Everything in the UNIverse fits 🧩 because

each part belongs to the ONE whole conscious cosmic song 🎻 and dance 💃🏻.

ALL is one

is the ultimate truth.

“The simple reality is that our planet is a single living organism, as much as our bodies are.”

—Thom Hartmann

The role of dukkha is an interesting one when discussing misery and suffering. Can be misunderstood as living in misery, however, can be about the learning experiences gained from these moments.
